Lewis Hamilton had a very decent FP3 session, winding up third fastest. Like Verstappen, he also has a good record at this track, with five wins here and five poles.
Qualifying has not been his friend all season long, he's been struggling to get the tyres into a working window and to feel confident to push the car under braking.
If he's saved the best to last, now is the time, in his very last qualifying session for Mercedes.
Onto the tyres, and Pirelli have gone for the softest three compounds. Expect plenty of C5 running tonight, although that tyre didn't hold on too well for a second push lap earlier - the teams will be hoping in the slightly cooler conditions, that it does a little better out there.
